Microsoft is rolling out an exciting new feature in its Edge browser called "Draft with Copilot." This AI-powered tool is designed to make drafting text a breeze, whether you're composing an email, writing a comment, or updating social media.
Here's how it works: when you’re in Edge and face an empty text field, simply right-click and select "Draft with Copilot." A window will pop up where you can input your desired topic or subject. Hit "Generate," and Copilot will produce a text draft tailored to your needs within seconds.
But that's not all. The tool allows you to adjust the tone and length of the generated text, making it easy to match your style. Whether you need something more formal or laid-back, longer or shorter, Copilot has you covered.
The real advantage here is the time saved. Think about how much time your team spends on everyday writing tasks. With Copilot, creating quick emails or social media posts becomes significantly faster. Plus, the AI ensures that your text is grammatically correct and well-structured, which is particularly useful if you're writing in a non-native language.
Currently, "Draft with Copilot" is available in US English, but Microsoft plans to expand it to more languages. While the tool is incredibly handy, the generated text can sometimes feel a bit generic. Reviewing and personalizing the text to better engage your audience is always a good idea.
This feature is still in the testing phase and is available in the Edge Canary preview build. Microsoft is gradually integrating Copilot into more Windows apps, signaling a future where AI tools like this become even more accessible and versatile.
