About Rivercity Tech

Rivercity Tech is an established Saskatchewan managed IT company. We're the crew that small and medium businesses across the province call when they'd rather not think about their tech at all. We handle the whole stack: IT support, infrastructure, and cybersecurity, and we're in it for the long haul with our clients, not the quick fix. Good people, good work, and a team that actually likes showing up.

The role

You're the top of our funnel. You'll find the right businesses, open the conversation, qualify the fit, and book quality meetings for our owner to close. You'll have the freedom to build the outbound motion from the ground up, with the owner closing alongside you.

What you'll do

  • Run targeted outbound — phone, email, and LinkedIn — to Saskatchewan businesses that fit our ideal client profile
  • Qualify interest, fit, and need, then book introductory meetings for the owner to run and close
  • Keep the CRM clean and your pipeline organized
  • Follow up on referrals and warm leads so nothing goes cold
  • Hit quality and activity targets (roughly 5+ qualified meetings per month)

What you bring

  • Energy and resilience for outbound — you don't take “no” personally
  • Strong written and verbal communication; you sound like a helpful peer, not a script
  • Curiosity about business and technology — enough to speak credibly with business owners
  • Organized and self-directed; you manage your own pipeline
  • A valid driver's licence and a reliable personal vehicle

Nice to have

  • Prior BDR/SDR, inside sales, or appointment-setting experience
  • Familiarity with a CRM and sales tools
  • Any exposure to MSP, IT, or B2B technology sales

How the pay works

Competitive base plus uncapped commission. You earn a bonus for every qualified meeting that's actually held, and a commission when deals close, so your effort drives your income directly. A 90-day ramp guarantee gives you stability while you build pipeline, and strong performers reach $100K+ OTE.

Why join us

  • Build something from the ground up — you're our first dedicated sales hire
  • An established, well-regarded local company with a strong client base behind you
  • Hybrid flexibility, benefits, and a tight-knit local team
  • Real growth path as we scale the sales function

How to apply

Send your resume and a short note on why this role interests you through our careers page. We review applications on a rolling basis and are always glad to meet good people.

The role

You're the top of our service desk and the person the team brings the problems they can't crack. You're a self-starter who takes an issue from the first ticket to the finish line without being chased. You'll own the toughest escalations, run client projects end to end, and partner with our CTO on the complex, highimpact work. You're the senior the whole desk leans on.

What you'll do

  • Own the toughest escalations across Microsoft 365, Windows Server, networking, virtualization,
  • and security
  • Be the final escalation tier on the service desk — our Support Analysts and Systems Analysts bring
    you their hardest issues
  • Execute and own client projects to completion (migrations, deployments, security hardening, M365
    work)
  • Self-start: see what needs doing and carry it across the line
  • Document standards and fixes so the whole team gets better
  • Mentor and support our Support Analysts and Systems Analysts
  • Partner with the CTO on project delivery and technical direction

What you bring

  • 4+ years in senior IT support or systems administration, ideally at an MSP
  • Strong, hands-on skills across Microsoft 365, Windows Server, networking (firewalls, VLANs, VPN),
    and virtualization (Hyper-V/VMware)
  • A true self-starter mindset — you own issues end to end and don't let them drop
  • Comfort running and owning projects to completion
  • Clear, friendly communication with clients and teammates
  • A valid driver's licence and a reliable personal vehicle

Nice to have

  • Advanced Microsoft certifications (Azure/M365), CompTIA Security+, Network+ or equivalent
  • Advanced security tooling experience (EDR/MDR, SIEM), backup/DR
  • Advanced PowerShell scripting and PSA/RMM platform experience

Why join us

  • A senior, high-trust seat where your work genuinely matters
  • Work alongside a strong CTO and a tight-knit local team
  • A stable, growing Saskatoon MSP with a great client base
  • Benefits, and a genuinely senior seat with real ownership and room to grow

About Rivercity Tech

Rivercity Tech is an established Saskatchewan managed IT company. We're the crew that small and medium businesses across the province call when they'd rather not think about their tech at all. We handle the whole stack: IT support, infrastructure, and cybersecurity, and we're in it for the long haul with our clients, not the quick fix. Good people, good work, and a team that actually likes showing up.

The role

You take the tickets the front line can't crack. You've got real systems and applications knowledge, you work escalations end to end, and you're starting to mentor the newer analysts. You're the dependable middle of the service desk, and a key step on the path to Systems Engineer.

What you'll do

  • Own escalated tickets across Windows, Microsoft 365, networking, and servers
  • Administer Active Directory / Entra ID, Exchange Online, SharePoint, and core line-of-business
    applications
  • Configure and troubleshoot networking — DNS, DHCP, VPN, switches, firewalls, and Wi-Fi
  • Support backup, endpoint security, and patch management, and flag risks proactively
  • Coach and support our Support Analysts on their escalations
  • Contribute to documentation and our knowledge base so fixes scale
  • Escalate to a Systems Engineer when an issue needs senior or project-level expertise

What you bring

  • 2–4 years in an MSP or internal IT support role
  • Strong Microsoft 365 administration and Windows Server fundamentals
  • Working networking knowledge and confidence with remote-management tools
  • An ownership mindset — you drive issues to resolution and keep clients updated
  • A valid driver's licence and a reliable personal vehicle

Nice to have

  • Microsoft certifications (MS-900, AZ-900, MD-102) or CompTIA Network+/Security+
  • Experience in a multi-client MSP environment

Why join us

  • A real career ladder — Support Analyst to Systems Analyst to Systems Engineer, with support to
  • earn your certs
  • A tight-knit local team where you're a name, not a number
  • Modern tools, benefits, and work that matters for Saskatchewan businesses
  • Room to grow into senior and project-level work

About Rivercity Tech

Rivercity Tech is an established Saskatchewan managed IT company. We're the crew that small and medium businesses across the province call when they'd rather not think about their tech at all. We handle the whole stack: IT support, infrastructure, and cybersecurity, and we're in it for the long haul with our clients, not the quick fix. We take the work seriously and ourselves a little less so. This is where great IT careers start, and where we love to grow people.

The role

You're the first voice and first reply a client gets when something breaks. You own the front line: answer fast, fix the straightforward stuff, and route the rest cleanly so nothing falls through the cracks. It's fast-paced, people-focused work, and it's the best seat in the house to learn the trade and grow with us.

What you'll do

  • Take first-response tickets by phone, email, and portal — triage, prioritize, and set clear
    expectations on next steps
  • Resolve common issues: password resets, account lockouts, printer and peripheral problems, and
basic Microsoft 365 and Windows support
  • Set up and image workstations, prep new-user accounts, and handle basic onboarding and
    offboarding
  • Document every ticket cleanly in our system — clear notes, accurate time entries, proper
    categorization
  • Escalate to a Systems Analyst or Engineer with full context when an issue is beyond first-line scope
  • Keep clients informed — a fast, friendly update always beats silence

What you bring

  • A technical college diploma (or equivalent hands-on experience) and a genuine interest in IT
  • support
  • Solid Windows and Microsoft 365 fundamentals, and comfort troubleshooting common hardware
    and software
  • Clear, patient communication — you can explain a fix to a non-technical person without making
    them feel small
  • Organized and reliable — you follow the process, and you don't drop tickets
  • A valid driver's licence and a reliable personal vehicle (required)

Nice to have

  • CompTIA A+ or Microsoft fundamentals certifications
  • Prior help desk, IT support, or co-op / internship experience (bonus if it's at an MSP)

Why join us

  • A real career ladder — Support Analyst to Systems Analyst to Systems Engineer, with support to earn your certs
  • A tight-knit local team where you're a name, not a number
  • Modern tools, benefits, and support to earn your certifications
  • Work that matters, for businesses right here in Saskatoon
