“You’re giving me the ‘it’s not you, it’s me’ routine? I invented ‘it’s not you, it’s me.’ Nobody tells me it’s them not me; if it’s anybody, it’s me.”

A Couple of Cool New Features Coming to Windows 10

If you are still currently using Windows 10 then you are missing out on the cool features that Windows 11 has to offer.

For those who are still using Windows 10, Microsoft is sharing a couple of 11's most useful features.

This first one is a big one! It should make printing A LOT easier pause for applause Printers have a bad reputation for not working right and anything that will ease the frustration is great news in our book! It will make printing PIN-protected and will only print when you have reached the printer and entered your PIN. This will be helpful when you're printing something confidential and don't want to leave it laying around, it will also stop you from accidentally printing too many copies of the same document resulting in less paper waste! Good for us and good for the planet! It’s a win-win.

The second feature is called Focus Assist and is designed to work alongside do not disturb. Its aim is to have all the benefits of the do not disturb feature, giving you some uninterrupted time to complete a task, but Focus Assist will allow you to still receive important and time-sensitive notifications and messages that do not disturb blocks.

These features have been in testing since June and unfortunately, there is no release date yet. But they are on their way and fingers crossed they will be here soon! If you want to know more about the features that Windows 11 has to offer, give us a call and see how we can help you make the decision if it is time to switch!

Until next time, keep fit and have fun!
