RCT Launched

Rivercity Technology Services has officially launched.
What better way to start the new year than with a new company, new lifestyle in the country, and a passion for all things IT.

In 2014 I realized that doing a full time job teaching at a college, while consulting with private clients, while working our bee apiary, while raising 4 children....something would have to go. I think few were surprised when I announced that I was leaving my long time job as a teacher at a private college after 11 years. My passion has always been IT, but finding freedom to work at our bee farm during honey harvest and support our other business interests would not be compatible with being strictly controlled by a teaching position full time. So in late 2014 we decided to shake things up a bit...and I resigned from my regular day job.

This event has resulted in an immediately very positive reaction. Several clients have supported me in this move, to them I say THANK YOU! (Tyler...Adam...Claire...Penny...Ron....and everyone else!)

To my alumni, who over the last 10 years I found a special connection with. You were amazing students, you have worked hard and gone on to be wonderful and exceptional IT employees. I look forward to seeing you in the course of my continuing IT career.
